This is a popular rimless, straight-walled pistol cartridge designed by John Moses Browning and introduced in 1908 by Colt. It’s widely used for self-defense, especially in compact and concealable handguns. Also Glock offers some Pistol models in 9mm short ( Glock 25,28,42 ). IGB munufactures barrel for all these Models standard, threaded and extended, according to customer request. The cartridge is also known as 9mm Short, 9mm Kurz, or 9x17mm, and typically fires a .355-inch diameter bullet weighing between 85 and 115 grains. |
