(1) IGB steel-slide
The IGB Small Bore System is made completely of steel. For This reason, handling and shooting features are very similar to 9mm. All system parts made from steel are plasmanitrated. All inner parts - such as firing pin, extractor etc. are OEM parts and easy to change.
Modell Heavy-Duty can be upgraded with an MOS-Cut and / or our 1/2x28 UNEF threaded barrel.
Modell Pro-Sport comes with MOS cut and allows the use of according Optics on the market. The IGB Cover Plate is made from polymer and part of standard delivery. It also features the 1/2x28 UNEF threaded barrel already and is lighter than the Heavy-Duty due to milling on the slide itself.
(2) IGB .22lr barrel with optional 1/2 x 28 UNEF muzzle thread
The barrel is made form special endurable IGB barrel steel. The blank is profiled and processed in-house und undergoes plasmanitration. The barrelmuzzle is threaded 1/2x28 UNEF on the Pro-Sport or Heavy-Duty upgrade, in order to allow various accessories existing on the market. The thread protector is made from polymer and part of delivery.

Which System fits for me?
The Heavy-Duty version is perfect for near realistic training, since it weighs already 530g. That’s only a bit lighter than the base gun already. Due to this, it has more recoil when this mass is moving and gives you an overall better training expirience if you are aiming to lower your training costs at almost no compromise. The Set can be upgraded with an MOS-Cut or threaded barrel to fit your liking.
The Pro-Sport comes with all the goodies already. An MOS-Cut aswell as the threaded 1/2x28 UNEF barrel gives you everything you need to get started in a sport setup already. The main difference to an upgraded Heavy-Duty is the slide itself. The Pro-Sport slide got a lot of cuts to reduce it’s weight for faster series, while stil giving you the expirence only a steel slide can do.
Ammunition Recommendation:
Generally, the use of Quality Ammunition is recommended for such systems. Extremly strong ammo like Stinger, MaxiMag or other Hypervelocity Cartridges are not neccary and even not really recommended. The system has been tested so far with Remington HV22, Eley Tenex, RWS Rifle Match, RWS100, RWS LR Solid, Federal Classic, Fiocchi Maxac, CCI Green Tag, CCI Standard Velocity, CCI Minimag, Lapua Trainer, S&B Club and GECO .22lr Semi-Auto

All inner parts are 17 Gen. 5 OEM parts for easy exchange. (Firing pin, Extractor, rod and spring for extractor, slide rear endplate)
Assembly:
Unload your pistol according the manufacturer manual. Bring the slide on your frame like the original upper. Make sure that the disassembly lever is in the correct position, you may need to apply pressure at the muzzle to lock the disassembly lever correctly. If you got a double-spring base gun, leave adaptor plate on the spring. If not, remove it from the muzzle side of the recoilspring.
Disassembly:
Unload your pistol and remove the slide the same way as you would with the base gun. You may need to apply pressure at the muzzle to unlock the disassembly lever more easy.
Use of the Kit
Use the kit the same way you use your base gun.
Despite being .22lr, you want to hold the gun firmly (as you would with the base gun) to make sure of proper function and cycling.
Greasing or oiling the rails of your frame will help the system work smoothly since .22lr produces a lot of dirt which likes to block ungreased parts.
Ammuniton
The kit is designed to work with SV-Ammo as long as it got 40 grains and roughly 1070 fps. If you want to train even more realistic, HV-Ammo can be used too.
The system was tested with the following ammo:
Remington HV 22, Eley Tenex, RWS Rifle Match, RWS R100, RWS Long Rifle Solid, Federal Classic
Fiocchi Maxac, CCI Green Tag, CCI Standard Velocity, CCI Minimag, Lapua Trainer, S&B Club
(Any other ammo with 1070 fps/326 m/s and 40 gn bullet weigth should work)
Maintainance:
.22lr Systems are sensitive for dirt. Keep the system clean and remove any dirt from the gas bore and gas piston if necessary. Use a hard brush for cleaning.
Trouble shooting:
The slide does not fully open: try different ammo and/or hold the pistol more tight. Make sure the slide moves freely on the frame. Remove excessive dirt on the gas piston and gas bore.
The slide does not fully close: Can be caused by excessive dirt around the gas piston, remove with a hard brush.
The system does not eject properly: Check if there is dirt underneath the extractor.

- Does it work with my special trigger?
If the trigger works in your base gun, it will also work with our kit. The striker is on the same position as it is in the base gun. You could even replace it with your Gen. 5 striker, if you like to do so.
- Do I need to use HV-Ammo?
No. The system was engineered to work with SV-Ammo as long as it got 40 grain and roughly 1070 fps. However, if you would like to have an even closer shooting expirence to your base gun, put HV-Ammo into the system. The steel slide won't mind it.
- What do I need to alter at my gun?
Nothing! It works without changes to your gun. Put the kit on, load the magazine and go have fun with it.
