Conversion Steps: 1. Replace the .10auto barrel by the .357Sig barrel of IGB Austria, which is machined to be compatible with a OEM Glock 20 Slide. 2. The 10mm Auto has more recoil energy than .357 SIG (e.g., 10mm can push 650 ft-lbs, while .357 SIG tops out around 500 ft-lbs). The stock 10mm recoil spring assembly is usually overbuilt for .357 SIG, so it’ll function. 3. Good news: The 10mm Auto magazines (e.g., Glock 20 mags) work fine with .357 SIG. Both cartridges have the same case head diameter and overall length (the .357 SIG is slightly shorter but fits the same magwell). No swap needed. A barrel swap is the main expense. No need for a new slide or frame |
