IGB Barrel Geometry:
IGB Barrels are not a 1:1 copy of a CZ Barrel. In some configurations
the geometry is altered to enhance the movement of the slide and to support
a reliable bullet feed of the barrel.
CIP Proof Mark:
CIP Proofing is the proof against a certain pressure inside the barrel. These markings are mandatory in certain countries like; Belgium, Chile, Germany, Finland, France, Great Britain, Italy, Austria, Russia, Slowakia,Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary and the Emirates.
IGB Hexagonal Profile
The IGB Hexagonal profile is very close to the traditional field / groove design and is suitable for softer bullets as well as FMJ ones. Its core feature is the optimised guiding of the bullet itself, due to the deep grip into it.
Polygon
IGB-Polygonal Profile
The IGB-Polygonal profile has a true polygonal shape and is not some kind of mixture. Due to this unique design it has no visible edges and is therefore very gastight. This results in a slightly higher pressure and faster v0.
Why should I flute my barrel?
Fluting a barrel grants you two advantages. The first one is a slightly reduced weight to the barrel and therefore to the whole pistol. The second one is the increase of surface to the barrel, which makes the barrel cool off faster. This can help accuraccy in fast fire situations and enhances the lifespan of your IGB-barrel.
PVD-Coating, what does it do?
PVD coating (Physical Vapour Deposition) is a coating which provides a thin layer on top of your barrel to increase its hardness even more. Another advantage to this technology is the reduced friction between slide and barrel, which increases the lifespan of the barrel even more. A side-effect to these coatings is the color of the barrel. Depending on the coating it can be black, silver, gold, bronze or even a blueish-green.

Good morning
I live in *** and I am considering buying a threaded barrel for my CZ Shadow 2 OR as I would like to add a suppressor.
I am a new shooter. Is there anything I need to know before buying a threaded barrel and adding a suppressor? Are there any disadvantages? What brands of suppressor are compatible with your threaded barrel?
If I am importing the item , what do I need to do to ensure that the barrel is legal?

The connection part of our threaded barrels, the threading, is manufactured according to the tolerances for the threading you'd like to order. We can sadly not tell you which suppressor would work best with our barrels in your gun, since there are a lot of factors to consider.
First thing; A suppressor works against the movement of the barrel, due to it's weight. So you definitely want one dedicated to pistol use with a recoil enhancing system in it. No impulse system means usually no function in guns with a browning system (barrel moves up and down)
Once you got the suppressor working for you, it's also a matter of ammo. If you use subsonic ammo, you'd have even less energy to move your system with. A lighter spring could probably help you there.
Long story short; you can attach everything on the barrel which matches the threading - but function does depend on the part you put on.
